The 4 year old asked why the moon is following us. Said it's because the moon likes us. He accepted this and I'm now worried about his future.
The 4 year old told a stranger that daddy 'doesn't know how to do hair.' Correct, but rude.
The little one put a sock in the toaster. The toaster is fine. The sock is retired.
Daycare drop-off: cried, clung to my leg, refused to go in. She was fine, this is about me.
Kids asleep by 8. Wife and I sat in silence for 20 minutes. Best date in months.
Kids asleep. Dishwasher running. Wife and I watched 11 minutes of a show and both fell asleep. Great night.
Daycare sent a note home that says 'ask him about the frog.' I asked. It was a whole thing.
The little one only eats crackers shaped like fish. Not the other fish crackers. Those fish crackers.
Packed lunch, forgot the lunch, found the lunch in my car at 6pm. It's fine, he had 'snacks' (crackers).
The little one said her first full sentence today. It was 'no, mine.' She's ready for the world.
The 4 year old wants to know why the moon is out in the daytime and I've run out of ways to say 'it just is.'
